Körözött - Cheese seasoned Hungarian


Ingredients for 4 people:

300 g white cheese from sheep or cow, possibly mixed
1 head red onion

paprika salt pepper


cumin to taste, cream

Preparation:

Cut onion into thin pieces. Work the cheese with paprika (paprika stop when the cream becomes orange), salt and pepper, then add the onions and cumin. Mix well and refrigerate for a short time - and delicious körözött can already be tasted.

Note: The
körözött can be made only with sheep cheese, or just with cheese from cow or two mixed in equal parts, but many only use white cheese from cows.
Some add a little cream fresh - which perhaps makes the whole easier to spread (but if we add too much it becomes liquid) is first determined that the family likes it. For small children
attention to the dose of pepper, so that the körözött is not too spicy.
