The price of Hercules Paris exists since 1984.
The board elects 3 members unanité to a book among the issues of a year.
Some years, there was no price because the jury could not agree unanimously. Some years, there were two prices: one price "boys" and a special "girls."
The reward is adapted to the Prize winner who participates in the choice of art, weekend on the coast, bibliophile edition of a book, gourmet meal with guests, a pair of slaps or spanking (winner maso), clothing brand, car racing (miniature old)
The award ceremony takes place most often at the Poetry Market Place St-Sulpice in Paris in June this year following that of publication of the book award.
